Default '12 4x4 harley build

ill start by saying this isnt going to be an extreme build or anything too exciting. this truck is my daily, my car hauler and my kid hauler. im looking for a clean truck, good yet responsive handling, can fit in garages, eye catching and most of all reliable. im coming from an 06 bulletproof f350 drw with a ton of mods. did all myself and would not have changed a thing. i got a little older and wanted something more simple. i also have an 03 10th anniversary cobra vert that i play with. makes 616hp and handles like its on rails (also a ton of money wrapped up in that car).
with all that out the way lets move on the f150. harley package with all bells and whistles. only mods right now are factory hid headlights and mirror reflector deletes. the first part i want to address is the suspension and tires. i know all about high end suspension and wanted something that would drive nice, handle bumps and dips, and not require a ton of other parts to change. i opted for the fox 2.0 coil overs in the front and the 2.0 shocks out back. this should fit the bill. depending on how it looks when installed i may opt for a slightly taller block out back. and again after installed ill see how it handles my trailer and car on the back. if it has too much squat ill add a set of timbrens. i know how everybody likes pics so here is the fox gear

next i needed some nice tires, also some that had a higher load rating than the factory ones. wanted something that would be quiet at hwy speeds, good in dry and rain, get me out a sticky situation and look decent (not putting a m/t tire on a 50k truck). i chose the hankook atm all terrain in a 305 45 22. the price was right and so were the features. didnt want something too tall, (trimming, weight, loss of power and fuel). plus i like to have tire clearance, not the stuffed look

all will be installed next week hopefully depending on work schedule and time. ill update as things progress and new things are added; blocks, timbrens ect... only other big plans i have is a full stainless works exhaust and an sct with custom tuning. of course there will be small things here and there but like i said before, simple. thanks for looking and if you have any questions please ask.
here is how the truck sits now. ill take the after pictures in this same spot for reference

Thanks. The 350 was fun. Had a ton of engine work both bullet proofing and performance. The suspension was also top of the line; one up offroad, icon, precision metal fab, ect...
I'm excited about the harley build too. Not as over the top or extreme but should do what I'm looking for and be a lot less maintenance. Thanks

i snapped a couple of pics with the new tires. also had a chance to install the rear fox shocks. all i can say is wow. if the front performs as well as the rear then this will be one great riding truck. i have only put about 15 miles on it since install but its a route i take everyday and i can tell you that the rear is so much smoother and controlled. cant wait to do the front
and by the way the fox rears were not hard to install took all of 30 mins and that included lifting the rear and removing the wheels for a good cleaning after the mount and balance. they are more still that the stockers but nothing unmanageable

and the front fox parts have been installed. took about 2hrs, no set backs. impressions: this is what for should have used on these trucks. ride is smooth as can be yet handles much better. i still need to log some miles to get a better feel but so far its AMAZING. i cant speak bad about other brands but after using these i wouldnt go another route

little update. ordered a few new goodies for the truck.
sct x4 with "the tune" from svc. searched long and hard on tunes and settled on svc based on all the positive reviews. they do free adjustments based on new mods so when i finally get the exhaust i can just get it revised. mainly looking to have better shifting and better throttle response
mirimoto xb fog lights. want better lighting and a cleaner look with lights both on and off. when looking at the front during the day the factory chrome fog lights stick out like a sore thumb. at night i have oem hid housing with 6k bulbs, yellow turn indicators and halogen fogs. at least now heads and fogs will match. not to mention they put out 1200 lumens. there will be no lack of light output now i hope
f150lifts raptor grill lights. they just look cool and should complete the front end of my truck with the new mirimoto xb led fog lights
all parts should be here next week. ill update with pics and reviews as i get/install them

Your other two builds made my jaw drop, seriously can't wait to see what you do with this one

From how you have described it, doesn't sound like you plan on doing too much offroading, but figured I'd ask anyway. I was planning on the same suspension setup (fox 2.0 front and rear) for my truck. Have you taken the new suspension off pavement yet? Wanted to know your impression! Thanks

thanks. the 350 was fun for sure but too much for what i need/want now. the cobra is a blast. still very streetable yet when the hammer drops its nothing to play with
i havent had an opportunity to take the truck offroad yet. there arent to may places around me to do it. plus lets be real, im not going to offroad a 50k truck. the most i really do is some sand when we go to the beach and some ope fields at my father in laws camp. im sure they will handle fine.
