Or buying new tires until the current K02's wear out, although they are a bit narrow for my liking but were bought in a jam. All depends on what my best friend does with his GM, if he lifts instead of levels I will have to do the same. Kind've how we roll, I got an exhaust, he did too. Both bought brand new mountain sleds for this year, and both got into dirt bikes last year although I always had motorcycles.
Not at all. The 4" BDS is the same as the 6" just a different size spacer on the front

What @one_slow_eco said (that ig handle was on point, similar to @egoboostin which is one I saw the other day)
The BDS 4" kit is a true drop mount kit, with a diff drop and larger steering knuckles and all the good bits; it's basically the same as he 6" kit but 2" shorter. Where the adjustability comes in is the lift coils, because Fox technically doesn't make a 4" lift coil, people usually turn down the 6" lift coil they make or use Raptor takeoff coils. With the 6" coil you can have it set at 4" of lift with a nice mellow ride or use it as it's designed as a 6" coil and it would act as a 2" level on a stock truck, increasing the 4" lift by 2" in the front but moving your cv angles.

From what I understand, the drop brackets and spindles are identical on the BDS 4 and 6". Just different size blocks and spacers

Well that makes it a lot more tempting to get a 4" BDS with fox lift.. that is for sure. Could dump my front level then and have it sitting right with a small amount of rake by leaving my AAL in.

My instagram is @NLRichyJ if you guys wanted to follow that, seems like we're all into similar stuff and similar age at that. Mine isn't truck build specific though, a lot of motosport stuff.

I always thought the drop brackets were different at least, but maybe not. I haven't looked at a parts catalog for them so you're probably right.
Side note, I kind of want to change my handle to that_fake_raptor just for ****s and giggles because everyone I run into that doesn't know trucks ends up asking if it is or not haha

Yeah I compared the BDS part numbers and they all match up except the struts and blocks. I got that all the time when I first got my truck too lol

Silicon the hell out of your third break light. People have trouble with the stock ones I can't imagine how iffy the recon ones are.

I found my Recon one sealed better than the OEM one. I did add clear silicon though when I did the final install.

Really? They're notorious for condensation, my friends all have them for different trucks and about half have had issues, might just be my friend group can't handle simple tail light install lmao. That's a good sign though if Recon is stepping up their game.
