That's going to look really good! I'm thinking of doing something like that, but I'm scared of cutting into my bumper....

Thanks!

It's sketchy for sure but I just taped it off and measured 20 times. Cut once ha

It's not the straightest lines but the faceplate covers any imperfections.

So all you have to do is drill the holes for the screws and cut out the shape of the cube right? And do you think there will be any problem with the cutouts rusting after a while?

Correct.

I drilled a hole in each corner where the light fits through so I could have a nice corner and get my saws all in there to start cutting. Then I laid up the mounting bracket and drilled the mounting holes.

To prevent rust I painted the exposed metal with a clear coat sealant and then used a silicon around where the light meets the bumper to help seal it that way too.

Reverse cubes are in and ready to go! I taped in to the reverse light wire in the trailer 7-pin connector

I drilled 4 holes with a 3/4" drill bit in each corner on my outline i drew on the bumper. Then I used a standard metal blade in my saws all and just cut straight lines to each corner
