No I started polishing it with never dull. I got about a third of the way done and called it because i realized it wasn't even half as good as the spot I did in the picture and I didn't want to do it for 6 hours. Maybe if I had a buffer but definitely not doing it by hand.

Sub'd. I love your truck! Do you have anymore big plans or just small things here and there?

Thanks! I'm currently planning a wedding and gearing up to pay off the rest of my truck around Christmas so nothing major right now. My small project I'm looking into is removing the plastic liner/tailgate handle and replacing it with some sort of plate and possibly using the weathertech tailgate liner to cover it. The factory plate with linex would be a few hundred dollars. I'd like to do it for less than a hundred.

Buy the bedliner kit and DIY? I've been thinking about doing it. I've pulled the handle an replaced it with the tailgate filler. Lightens up the tailgate a lot!

I pulled the handle already and its great. I still need the panel but I hate paying 60 dollars for fifteen dollars of metal, I think I could make a panel to work under that weathertech liner that doesn't have to look nice. Just don't want to put a ton of work into it since I'll probably put the handle back in whenever I trade it. If I make one maybe I'll put f150 on it and make it look cool....hmmm

Put some AVS vent visors on this weekend. I never really liked them but I found them for $40 on Amazon so I figured I'd try them. I wasn't sure at first but they're starting to grow on me.

Just read through the whole thread. The truck looks awesome, man! I'm really digging the custom touches that really set it apart. Looks like you have access to some good resources!

Feel free to hit me up anytime you need something for the truck, I'll make sure you get the best price around.

Cleaned the truck up and took a road trip with the fiance today to the American pickers shop.
