Anyone have suggestions on rotors and pads? I'm looking at the drilled and slotted ones on stage 3 but was wondering what else is out there. I'd like ones better than stock. My truck has 45,000 miles on it and the rotors are warped again. They have already been turned twice under warranty but they won't do it again since I'm past 36000.

I've just turned mine for the second time to the tune of $497. More than irritated. This is what I'm looking at
(basically what S3M has, I think):

Either

Power Stop (K6268-36) Z36 Extreme Severe-Duty Truck & Tow Brake Kit, Front and Rear Power Stop (K6268-36) Z36 Extreme Severe-Duty Truck & Tow Brake Kit, Front and Rear

-OR-

Power Stop (K6268) Z23 Evolution Sport Brake Kit, Front and Rear Power Stop (K6268) Z23 Evolution Sport Brake Kit, Front and Rear

Don't get drilled and slotted rotors, go for blank ones. I come from the road racing scene and drilled and slotted just cause warping. Get some Centric Premium blank or Brembo blank rotors and EBC/Carbotech/Porterfield/G loc pads. You will not be disappointed.

Yea I saw that on stage 3. Right now they're running them on sale and are way cheaper than Amazon.

I do have a little bit of a budget due to trying to buy a house. I say that because they sound expensive but maybe they aren't as bad as I think. Where's a good place to buy those components?

Price looks about the same. Make sure you are looking at apples to apples, some kits are only the fronts.

Stage 3 was 479 for the front and rear rotors and pads then there's a 15 dollar discount bringing them to 464. Amazon was over 500. Maybe I looked at it wrong though. Not set on those yet but they are cheaper than most other ones. Other places I've looked the rotors are anywhere from 35 to 105 for one. Definitely going to keep shopping around.
