I apologize for the fact that this thread has been soooooooooooooo slow lately. My primary focus right now has shifted to first and foremost my wife, and the rest of my time is taken up by my job which takes me away from my truck for weeks at a time. I did however get a chance to go out the other week and beat up the truck. I did that trip the afternoon before i was about to leave the truck in a parking lot for 7 days. I was so consumed with getting ready to leave that i forgot to wash the truck. So today, i paid dearly for my mistake. It took $80 and almost 2 hours at the local car wash to get it to the point where i could actually bring it home to spend another hour washing it. Not to mention i have no idea how my truck is running because my entire intake is caked in mud lol
Moral of the story:
1. Don't leave your truck covered in mud for a week
2. If you do, don't be a moron like me and spend $80 at the car wash, just stop being cheap and buy a pressure washer from Home Depot lol

Dirty:

Clean enough to start washing...

Just got to drive the truck for the first time in a while yesterday and someone rear ended me.... 2x in a row! Everyone is ok and the trailer hitch and tow hooks took all the impact so we will have to see if there is any other damage.

Default Moses Lake Sand Dunes

I finally had a moment to relax and sit back so i made the decision i was finally going to go see what all the hype was about the local sand dunes. Let me just say that it ended up being one of the coolest afternoons of offloading I've ever done. I read a lot about off roading on the dunes before i went and I'm really glad i did. Id say my two biggest take aways are air down the tires to an acceptable amount (i went with 25psi) and also pre run EVERY wide open course before you go WOT on it. It may seem like a waste of time to pre run the course you want but i saved myself a lot of pain and money a few times out there because the sand can be deceiving. I am working on editing the go pro video i got so for now here are a few cell phone pics i grabbed.

Off road heaven!

Thank you sir! Couldn't be happier to have it back on its proper stomping grounds again. I would like to say that IMHO this is what the Fox set up was made for. The truck felt right at home going over the dunes and provided and amazing ride even through some really rough sections. While i do still enjoy taking this truck to the local ORV park, i doubt ill be going back very much after this weekend. The dunes have opened my eyes to a new way to push this suspension to its limits and I'm loving every second of it!!

I've been sub'd for a while. How many miles do u have on your truck? I just got ecoboost a couple months ago and just curious how many miles I can expect out of it.

I'm just past 45,000 miles right now so my truck might not be the past judge of an older Eco Boost. I've seen plenty of guys with newer trucks that blow my mileage out of the water lol I live, work, and play all within a very short radius so I'd say on an average week this truck sees barely 50 miles... if that.
