Hey all, new here but it was suggested I start a build thread as I tend to modify my vehicles heavily. I just picked up the truck this week and attached some stock pictures. Plan to modify appearance (interior and exterior), engine, and sound. Stay tuned.

Quick update - Easy stuff first.

Added a stubby antenna because the stock throws off all the lines, weathertech mats front and rear, 20% tint all around.

Still researching where to go next but I think I have made some decisions.

What stubby antenna did you go with? How's the reception?

Can't answer for him but I have a Cravenspeed on my '16 & have no reception issues around Houston.

Truck looks great Dauc, too bad Blue Jeans isn't available with the XLT Sport, would've made my decision a bit tougher.

Thanks JAMADOR! I went ahead and ordered one off Amazon ($25, +$5 to get it today). I live in DFW so I think I'll be ok. If not, eh it's just $30.

That was my thought too. A cheap mod that isn't a big deal if it doesn't perform. I only listen to FM in the morning for the local morning show. USB the rest of the time.

Thanks! A lot more to come. I have the same antenna, the cravenspeed. I haven't noticed any signal difference but I mostly listen to audio through bluetooth.
