Danyelle's Blue Flame 2013 FX4 Build
Thought it was time to start my build thread as I have already begun building up the truck.
Purchased Jan 2017 with 61,000, bone stock 2013 FX4 Ecoboost. 275/65/18 Toyo Open Countrys. Max tow with the luxury package. Love at first sight. Spent 3 months finding the right vehicle (in my budget...) and it is exactly what I wanted.
I bought it to replace my 2003 Duramax, which I built up from stock (other than the lift) and it was my first love. But I was ready for something new. I did take 4 years to make the Duramax exactly how I wanted, so with this truck, I focused on getting it all done up to a sexy beast right from the get go, and had put aside plenty of money to get it where I wanted right after purchasing.
Photos below are from the week I bought it. I did replace the foglights with LEDs prior to these photos which were a perfect color match, however not as bright as I would like. In process of getting a replacement set.

Great looking truck! I'm partial to the blue flame/FX4 color matched everything myself. If you're not afraid of spending a little more, Morimoto makes a set of great LED replacement foglights for our trucks that bolt and plug right in. The light output of the morimotos blew away my stock headlights, they're that good.
