I've been thinking about something along the same line. My Chevy has dual Flowmaster 40s but they have a really mellow tone and almost no drone. I'm toying with getting a SI/DO Flowmaster 40 or Magnaflow, not sure I want to go full duals on this truck. I do like the idea of getting a kit that would allow me to swap back to stock if I needed to, but the price vs just having a shop do it makes me hesitate.

Going to the shop sounds like the way to go. Unfortunately all the muffler shops in my area are very hesitant to do any custom work because of the emissions testing in the area. Last time I walked into one they refused to install anything other than a bolt on kit. Fear of getting blamed for failed emissions test perhaps? If I found a shop that would do the work though, would a true dual Flowmaster 40 setup sound good? That's what I've got on my Chevy but I don't know how that would sound on this truck.

Did a couple of small mods to the truck over the weekend. My Maglite fit perfectly in the rear door but I got tired of hearing it slide all over the place every time I accelerated. So a roll of sticky velcro later and it sits nicely in the cubby underneath the seat. No more rattling around!
I also did the rear seat fold down mod. 15 minutes of my time plus some wire and zip ties and I've got a little extra "secret" storage!

Raptor Lights
So I finally broke down and did the "Raptor light" mod. $15 for three lights from Wally world and some sheet steel I had laying around. Took maybe 2 hours to get everything done, I just have to paint the bracket tomorrow so it doesn't stand out as much.

Went out today and picked up our first Christmas tree! We even got to cut it down ourselves. Absolutely loving the SCREW, fit three people in the back with ample room.
Among the trees!
Wife riding in the back to keep the tree safe!
All wrapped and fits nicely in the back!
Well, go big or go home I guess lol.
