I do like the idea of getting a kit that would allow me to swap back to stock if I needed to, but the price vs just having a shop do it makes me hesitate.
Yeah the full catback exhausts are too expensive for me. I got a shop I've gone to for years. I'll just have him cut out my factory muffler, and weld in a Magnaflow muffler in place of it. I wouldn't think it would cost more than $200.

Going to the shop sounds like the way to go. Unfortunately all the muffler shops in my area are very hesitant to do any custom work because of the emissions testing in the area. Last time I walked into one they refused to install anything other than a bolt on kit. Fear of getting blamed for failed emissions test perhaps? If I found a shop that would do the work though, would a true dual Flowmaster 40 setup sound good? That's what I've got on my Chevy but I don't know how that would sound on this truck.

I think it would sound great. I would go on YouTube and see what you can find. There are a TON of exhaust videos there.

I had the flowmaster 40 before and it was ok, but that Gibson Mulisha on mine now is rockin, it's not legal in all the states, so maybe too much..?

I actually haven't heard of the Gibson Mulisha exhaust yet, I'll have to take a look at that. Thanks for the suggestion!

Did a couple of small mods to the truck over the weekend. My Maglite fit perfectly in the rear door but I got tired of hearing it slide all over the place every time I accelerated. So a roll of sticky velcro later and it sits nicely in the cubby underneath the seat. No more rattling around!

I also did the rear seat fold down mod. 15 minutes of my time plus some wire and zip ties and I've got a little extra "secret" storage!

Living in the heart of Cubs country, I feel like this was a necessary $2 addition.

Default Raptor Lights

So I finally broke down and did the "Raptor light" mod. $15 for three lights from Wally world and some sheet steel I had laying around. Took maybe 2 hours to get everything done, I just have to paint the bracket tomorrow so it doesn't stand out as much.

Went out today and picked up our first Christmas tree! We even got to cut it down ourselves. Absolutely loving the SCREW, fit three people in the back with ample room.

Among the trees!

Wife riding in the back to keep the tree safe!

All wrapped and fits nicely in the back!

Well, go big or go home I guess lol.
