I think a nice looking paint job with this scheme is much more easily attainable than it would be in a gloss color. Or at least one up to my standards.

damn not bad. I like it. would look even better with a black stripe filling in the body line indent to add some more contrast on the side.

Probably not, I think it looks super cheesy when people paint the dent on these things.

I wouldn't paint the dent but I still think it needs something on the bed. I guess maybe a picture of the real truck actually painted may change my mind.

That's the best I can do for right now. I think it looks sick and he doesn't even have any black.

I forgot about that truck. It does look awesome. You would probably be happier with a color like that compared to a show quality gloss paint job at least you would probably be able to drive it and not worry too much about rock chips.
