Looks mean. Always loved a black truck.

I like the subtle, but nice changes. You've made your own truck without completely changing it to the point where it doesn't look like an F150 anymore, which I like and appreciate.

Painted the silver mesh between the three bar to black. The grille is two pieces and I took it apart. I think there are 12 hex head screws around the perimeter and 20+ clips to spread apart to get it to come off. Once off though, it's easy to paint.

I used some Primer/Paint gloss black. I'm happy with it, it achieved the look that I wanted and it looks more like the Platinum grille offered on the Ford build site. Ties in with the black a touch better.

Man that truck looks good. You've done a great job of making it look like a Platinum. I agree, i love the exterior and appearance of the platinum but dont want all of the extra features.

Have you made any changes to the interior?

I think the grille was $430 shipped after getting a promo code.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I haven't made any changes to the interior and I don't think I will. I'm really happy with the appearance of the Sport interior.

I had a few things in mind but that all disappeared when my son was born 6 weeks early and had to spend 10 days in the NICU. Every one is doing well but finances are a bit limited for the next....long while.
