Default 2010 4.6L XLT Build

I recently joined team Ford after driving a Nissan for a few years. Should have done it a while ago. I bought a 2010 4.6L XLT SuperCrew. Someone had taken real good care of it too. Planning on doing quite a bit to it in the next few months. I look forward to learning some stuff from you guys and showing my build too.

It has UnderCover SE which I removed as of now. I will probably sell it or keep it for longer roadtrips. And the bed is Line-X'd. The first performance mods are going to be an intake and then a tuner. I started getting rid of all the chrome today by painting the grill black. Not a permanent thing as I will get a different grill eventually.

I ended up doing a textured finish with bed armor. It looks pretty good so far. I had to spray down the hood to get some paint smudges from my hands off of it. Getting a grey emblem on the front.Name: image_20.jpeg

I decided to get a new grille. I don't know how I feel about the dark gray, but I like the grille. I also am not convinced the clips clipped into place even though it feels secure. Still have to figure out how to wire the lights. "F", "R" and NFab steps should be here soon.

I also added a F-250 snorkel to the air box instead of a CAI.

Hooked up the grille lights and installed the nfab steps. Anyone else have them? They were kind of a pain to get on most of the holes didn't match up and doesn't feel as sturdy as I figured.

The finished grille and some FX4 running boards I traded nFabs for.
