Have you checked your spark plugs for proper gap? Are the grounds clean of corrosion?

Glad everything else has worked like the heater and windows.

Yep, and yep. Doesn't seem to be related to the firing of the cylinders, used the scan tool at the auto store and drove around the lot. Everything looks fine.

My mechanic suspects a vacuum leak or intake manifold gasket leak. I've checked vacuums to the best of my ability and there are no leaks.

Haven't pulled the intake manifold yet, will take it in for a smoke test before doing that.

Just a rough idle, slight shake, no codes or other issues... And it's not a new shake either, I just know from watching the RPM's and comparing to the other trucks I drive at work that it's not normal. Doesn't seem to have any negative effect, but id like to solve it before it leads to something worse.

What is the idle RPM? When the motor was rebuilt did the just keep the factory programming or upload a newer version?

I didn't see if you removed/replaced the cats or not.

Haven't done cats.

~600rpm depending on temp.

I have a separate thread on this issue titled "5.4l running rough"

With details on there.

So, the coolant leak from the manifold is gone, if it comes back it will be a new manifold.

New lug nut, and two spares.

Still idles rough, still playing around with figuring that out, very little time off though with moving and working 7 days a week.

They want nearly $50 for a new hub cap, cheaper to delete the others and plastidip them all. So, I may do that come spring, with the grill too I think.

On tire's...

Anyone use the General Grabber AT2's?

Look similar to the BFG KO AT's but are a good deal cheaper, 60,000 mile/6 year warranty, plus a road hazard warranty from Discount tire... Why not?

Better to buy all at once or buy them as I can afford them, like one a month?

If i have to split up a full set of tires on purchase, i try to always buy a matched pair at the very least. On trailers, not really worried about it.

Well hello! My local Walmart started stocking motorcraft oil filters! Perfect!

And they carry plastidip. So doing the wheels and grill should be even easier.
