Okay fellas, I haven't updated this thread in a while, mainly because there hasn't been much to update. I've done a few things since the last time I posted though and have some more goodies waiting to be done.

So I recently installed a new sub and amp. I don't remember what their model numbers are off the top of my head though. It's a 10" kicker though I remember that and Brutus series amp.

I didn't have anywhere else to put the amp, my speakers' amp was on the other side of the box and neither would fit under the seats. It works perfectly right there though. I also wired it to an kc lights switched that came in the truck when I bought it, so I could cut the sub on and off as I pleased. I also got a deal from a great guy on a rear bumper, so I put that on. While I was putting the bumper on I decided to go ahead and freshen up my hitch receiver and plug as well.

So here's what the new bumper looked like when I brought her home. A little dirty, but no dent. A few chrome polish goes and she was nice and shiny.

Some befores and during of the old bumper and hitch....

I need to get some new pictures of the bumper done though. More goodies coming soon.

Why didn't you just take the hitch off so you didn't have to cover everything up lol

Because it was easier to put the plastic on than unbolt the hitch. The plastic just sticks to the truck from static. So it took me maybe 5 minutes or less to put the plastic on. Overlapped a few Seams and I was painting.

The Sub and box were $230, which includes shipping. The amp was $160 and the wiring kit was 70 or 75.00. The box and sub came from rodneys boxes on ebay. I highly recommend him because he knows his stuff. The box is made from high quality materials and is extremely sturdy. He packs them safe for shipping and as along as he is around, I'll buy my boxes from him. He has a few options for the 2000+ if I remember. Heres a link to his shop: http://stores.ebay.com/rodneyscustom...?_fsub=7302911 You could definitely do it on your own. It took me about a week for the full install because of work, but its not hard to install at all. Just makes you not want to have to take apart your whole interior for a while. haha
