Changed the location of the seat heater switch from the center dash to two separate buttons, one on each seat bolster surround. The first switch had the finger rollers wheel and it was annoying as all hell because it was too small to do individually. The roller did not have enough distance between them and they also did not stick out far enough to easily catch your finger.

The buttons I installed are a three position, Off, Warm, Warmer or HOT. They work much better as you can just feel the button click into position up or down. It also looks much cleaner and blends in much better.

Drivers Side. They also light up different colors (green and red).

Passengers Side,

The annoying culprit:

Looks fine and like it would work well, but in practice the thumb wheels are way to close together and also don't pop out enough so you sit there trying to get the tip of your nail positioned just right to move the correct wheel.

Default Rear Door Panels Replaces along w/ weather stripping window

I replaced the rear door panels (upper and lowers) with Black Harley/Lariat panels. While I did that I added some additional weather stripping to the windows. I have been on a bit of a tear lately weather stripping the rear pull window, all fours doors, the rear windows now and even the HVAC seals.

Default Side View Mirrors Carbon Fiber Covers

My side view mirrors need to be painted so I was just going to do that, but then I found some Carbon Fiber covers and thought why the hell not, I love Carbon Fiber and they won't look like everything else out there. What is nice is that CF on black is very subtle. I installed them with some 3M VSB.

Man you have been busy. I need to do a bit of weatherstripping myself.

Do you guys have issues with terrible wind noise when there is strong winds? Sometimes feels like it wants to rip the door open. Wondering if weatherstripping would help.

Also, I have to shut the back swing doors pretty hard for them to be shut properly, otherwise the doors rattle when I hit bumps. Thinking I may have to change the door latches eventually.

Are you keeping a salvaged Harley in the backyard and not telling us? Where you getting these parts?

Yeah Drill, I get wind noise and overall general cabin noise too. I expect a higher level of noise because the truck is lifted so I get that, but it doesn't mean I want it to be a wind tunnel and I won't accept that either so I have been chasing it since I bought the truck. I Dynamatted the entire interior of the truck from the floor to headliner and everything in between. I then changed out the wheels and tires which were also quieter. The next thing on the agenda was to start filling in those window and door gaps. So as stated I sealed the rear slider window and then the back pop out windows (I have a SuperCab), I ran a seal down each of the four doors as well.

I think it's healthy to remember these trucks are around twenty years old now so seals are at the end of their useful life. The next thing I'm looking at is either foaming some of the body panels or having a body shop do it. Here is a link to an article on auto body foaming agents... http://www.bodyshopbusiness.com/auto...and-placement/

Hahahaha Mandingo I must have five Harleys and Lariats all broken down into various large totes in the garage or at least it feels that way.

I think I may have a problem

I have done the dynomatting as well, not as much as you have, just the door panels and I agree that helps a lot. I hear you about the age of the trucks, sometimes I forget I'm driving such an old vehicle. I've put quite a bit into it over the years, main reason it runs and drives so good. Sometimes it's just hard to remember how old it actually is. Mines 17 years and 213k miles and I can run 85 down the highway all day without touching the steering wheel on a straight road.
