Default HID ?--I know sorry

Sorry for the ignorance. So to make it the HID, I need to buy the converters and bulbs and thats it? then just connect the converter between the truck and the lights or do I have to change the the light assembly too? And where is the best place to buy the kits? And do I need a converter for each headlight and each foglight?

Thanks and sorry,
Nate

by converter you mean ballast, this is what the hid kit would sound like....

factory head light harness, ballast, hid bulb

you need 1 ballast per bulb

and as far as kits most are great, i got mine for a good deal and wired it myself...its not hard, i hard wired it in also....

What kind of prep work did you do before applying the paint to the center caps? Sanding, etc? I would like to paint the chrome bezel around the grill black on my truck, but I'm afraid to try as I am not quite sure what kind of prep work I should do before painting.
