It actually pretty good. I don't listen to the radio much but when I do I get good reception. I mostly listen to my Iphone so its more for aesthetics for me.

Sweet good to know! I mostly listen to my iPhone as well but occasionally fire up the radio. I got mine for looks as well. I'm tired of that big floppy antenna. Also figure this will help create less drag compared to the stock antenna.

It arrived and I installed it last night. A little bit of signal degradation but nothing that I can't live with. Definitely doesn't do well in parking garage or tunnels but that's fine. Very quick and easy install and it looks great! It did get a little scratched up from the set of pliers I had to use to tighten it down but figure a sharpy or some black touch up paint will fix that.

Shot last night before going out. Cold Air Intake came last night too. Going to install it this morning before I head on a couple hour trip. I'll post pics in my cold air thread later.

Couple of updates.
I changed my FPDM. Old one had a little corrosion but nothing too serious. Still is nice to have it taken care of.
I also was about to tackle my VCT Solenoids, but I found this...
Big White Upgrading Build-img_0137-800x600-.jpg
It is the updated valve covers that do not allow for the VCT's to be removed without pulling the valve cover. That got me curious as I knew that the valve covers were not updated until mid to late 2006. I got to looking at the engine and found these couple stickers
Valve cover: Build date of 10-23-06

Engine sticker: Build date 10-23-06

So it looks like something happened with the original engine and it was just replaced. The carfax did not show any of this so I am guessing it was done under warranty. The best part (I think) is that in what I have read, the phasers were fixed by mid 2006. So my small amount of tick is likely the exhaust manifold. Time to get a stethascope and figure out exactly where the noise is coming from. I plan to figure out all that is causing my noises and replace them all at once. I am hoping it is manifolds because then I can get me a nice set of OBX headers.

Just started reading this whole thread and I love the way your truck is coming out! The white headlights are sick! I would paint the bumpers white if I was you and maybe get some black bushwhacker extend-a-fenders instead of painting the bumpers black. Just my opinion tho. Also be sure and post a how to on painting the letters of your F150 emblems. I really want to also. Great write up so far tho and good luck fixing your tick sound

FjacobXsmith4 thanks bud. Ya I really like the white. I am definitely doing the bumpers white. They are currently just plastidipped over the chrome. Just waiting for the time to pull em off and paint 'em. Which lettering? The one on the 2005? I can post a write up this weekend for you.

I was talking about the side badges and the rear badge. the ones that say F150. Did you say you were painting the letters white? I'd like to learn how to do that!
