And this is as close of a pic as I could find on their site that looked like my truck.
I love this hood too! You know how much it costs?

Very nice setup! Like you said, it's not overdone and flows well. As for the hood, I like it. I'm actually looking into getting one myself... do whatever suits YOUR tastes. The exhaust tip is definitely odd and different, but it works well with your scheme. great job!

That's a nice truck! Am I the only one that wants to hear the exhaust? I think if you're gonna keep running boards on it (not my preference) maybe you should make custom ones to match the exhaust! Either way....this truck is badass!

Okay so I spent yesterday and today cleaning and detailing the truck and decided to take off the tip and completely repolish it out. This hasn't been done since it was put on 6 months ago so I figured now was as good a time as ever and I rotated my tires, changed the oil, and touched up the frame and Fender well with paint.

Took some pics of everything I hadn't taken pics of yet and got the pics of CV Angles

FYI ON CV ANGLE PICS: The Wheels are at a full lock turn if that makes a difference. I was just trying to make it easier on myself to take the pics but I didn't think until now that it may change the Angle.

Here is the video from the same day I put it on and finished the whole set up six months ago. The muffler wasn't broken in yet and it actually sounds a little different now, but I'll still make get another shot of what it sounds like now. Also it doesn't sound quite as good Idle Reving as it does when its under load.

Sounds nice! Not as loud as I thought it was going to be but very clean sound. Good job teaching your boy how to fix this stuff too man..... and how to fabricate!

Okay got some video with my Iphone of how it sounds driving it.

I did it twice because the first time I thought I covered up the mic with my hand but I think the first is actually better because it cuts out the wind noise from the window being open. Enjoy

Thanks! Yeah I wish it was a little louder but I was paranoid about being obnoxious loud when driving it on the highway so now I kinda wish I had gone with a Magnaflow Stright through, but hey you live and learn. I'll have some Long Tube Headers on it by the end of the summer so maybe that will beef up the sound a little bit.

And yeah it's good for him to learn this stuff. All his friends can't believe the stuff we've done to the truck. He even told me some redneck boys asked him where he got the lift put on and they were shocked when he told them "My dad and I did it." That's a problem with today's kids is they don't know how to use there hands. I figured if any of those kids would believe we do all the work on the truck ourselves it would be the redneck kids, but apparently they all take there trucks to shops to get them installed.

Of course I don't think they realize how easy this lift is to install, but I wouldn't be too afraid to tackle a six inch lift myself. That also just shows me they prolly don't really know anything about the trucks they drive much less fix 'em themselves.
