Front Camera Add- 4.2 inch display

The instructions were pretty straight forward, but if you have the same grill as I do, then you will need to use a dremel tool to cut the opening to allow the camera bracket to fit properly.
the template they included is a little off, and it states that in the instructions due to many different types of grills for the F150. Sorry, forgot to take a pic after i cut the grill.
Also note that the wire harness is made to go from the tail gate to the cab, so its WAAAAYYY longer than needed to go from the grille to the cab. I ended up looping the excess wire under the sound deadening material on the hood.
I ran the wire harness into the cab on the drivers side, using the existing wire harness boot. I just cut a hole in it and pulled it through.
They included a standard toggle switch, but I chose to use one of my custom rocker switches to activate the front camera. I have one on order that Says FRONT CAMERA and has a little pic of a camera on it..
Also for this set up you need to either pull the pins out or cut the wires for the REAR camera out of the factory plug that was originally connected to the display.
PIN 6 – GROUND – Brown/Violet
PIN 12 – MAIN/Video feed – White/Green
You will also need a MALE RCA plug that will splice into the factory wires so you can have both a working rear camera and a FORCED ON front camera. The front camera can be on at anytime, except in reverse, the system forces the rear camera on IF you have the front camera currently displaying
The module/wire harness that is included with the kit has an RCA jack for for the front and rear camera, BOTH cameras need to be connected to the module for it to function properly. This was not in the instructions
and the guys at Camera Source told me exactly what needed to be done. Hopefully they will update their instructions for this particular combo going forward.

That's a cool set-up, but as was already mentioned, a bit pricey. Of course, if it keeps your front end clean...
In my case, it isn't so much the rocks, it's the little lady who can't judge how far away she is from the barn wall --- hehehe
