I have the same thing. You need to come to this car wash place i take my truck to. They also do inspections. As long as it passes there emission obd2 test. Your good.

I don't know why they only say 2005-2006 but I'm sure they are coming out with the ones for the newer trucks or these do work and its a typo

I can take a whistle for some bad ***** mirrors lol!!! The passenger one on my 08 f250 whistles because I have chrome covers on them but it doesn't bother me.
