I did remove the trim. If you put your fingers through the vent spaces and pull out, the whole "pod" pulls out of the dash (easily).

The trim is held on by 4 small clips. Just carefully lift on the clips (they are breakable ) and the trim lifts away.

I then Plasti-dipped them and, once they cured fully, just put them back on the pod and placed each pod back in the dash.

It is really straightforward as the rings only fit the pods one way and the pods only go into the dash one way.

I really like the look of the black.

It is finally all coming together.

Tinted tail lights are done and back on.

Husky front & rear mud flaps are in place.

Running boards are re-installed.

As she sits now.

Just a shot I thought gave a cool perspective.

It is asphalt undercoating spray. I bought from my local Canadian Tire store although most auto stores likely have it.

It takes longer than paint or rocker guard to cure but it has sound deadening properties and looks great. I am seriously considering doing my rear wheel wells with it.

This is a nice thread because you provide a lot of details of what your doing and using to accomplish the look. Such a gorgeous and sexy truck too. You have done a good job.
