Have you installed yours yet?

Mine showed up today but I won't have a chance to install them until the weekend. Still debating if I want to wire the puddle lamp light as a DRL so it's on anytime the truck is running or as an actual parking light.

I haven't had a chance either with work and the holidays, but when I do install them I am going to do the parking lights.

Put on the new power fold tow mirrors. Immediately I'm impressed with the fit and finish from 1Aauto and love the fact the main mirror is much bigger than the previous tow mirrors. Of course, the power fold feature is great.

I debated for awhile what to do with the extra light. I decided to run it as more of a running light vs a puddle lamp or it coming on with the parking lamps. The only thing I think I'll change is I'll eventually replace the incandescent 194 amber bulbs with amber led's.

On to the pics

Looks awesome!!!!!! I can't wait to get mine on. Was it all plug and play for you or did you splice into the yellow /blue wire for the running lights.

Thank you

Everything was plug and play minus the running lights but my truck has the factory power fold option. I think it was a green with a purple tracer that I spliced into. It's hot when the ignition is on so they are on anytime the truck is on. It was a wire coming out of the power lock switch.

I thought it was really odd there wasn't a hot wire for the parking lights anywhere in the switch panel in the door. I didn't want to run a new wire right now.....maybe down the road so it is strictly another marker/parking light.

I'm considering going white led's in the running lights and going with switch backs in the headlight parking lights. We'll see

Thanks, So just make sure I understand, you used the green with purple as your power or as your running lights .

I used the green/purple wire to power the running light. If I wouldn't have spliced that wire for power, the bottom light would only act as the puddle light.

Stopped by the lake to grab a couple more pics instead of the driveway/garage pictures.
