Default 84' f150 2wd 460!

Hey guys! Just posting pictures of the truck I've started redoing over the last year and a half! It's an 84 f150 2wd long box. I bought it with no engine and a built small block c6. It's got a 9" 3:50 geared posi. But the truck turned out to be alot softer than I had wanted to start with.

So I started tearing it down and found enough rust to make me go get a rust free frame and start from there. I was giving a perfect frame for a long box extended cab. So my dad mocked it up and levelled it all off. Than cut the 22" needed out of it and making everything square.

I bought everything new for the frame. All 4 spring hangers from ford, the djm drop shackles to level it out. Replaced cab crossmember. And the front rad support mounting pocket. Bought the factory 460 frame perches and mounts new.

So I than bought my 460. It's a 78 internally balanced from a Lincoln continental. It's only got 80,000 original Km. before its on the road I'm gonna get it rebuilt. I got a set of d0ve heads. Edelbrock performer rpm dome and Holley 750 double pumper.

I also sandblasted the frame and epoxied it. I need to spray my Eastwood extreme chassis black on it. I got a 38 gallon rear tank with all new straps and sending unit.

I bought another truck for the cab which is in real good shape. Sold the fenders and hood off of it as well. I also am going toploader 4 speed. I have a 428 close ratio 4 speed from a fairlane or galaxy. I got a 400m bellhousing and a Macleod clutch fork and throw out bearing for the big 1-3/8 shaft. I'm using a exxedy 390 lightweight flywheel and 11" diaphragm centerforce clutch. I'm gonna run a hurst truck shifter to accommodate my bench seat too

I also have brand new never primed or painted NOS fenders and hood. I have a guy picking up my southern rust free box as well. I might have a source for NOS doors as well
