Well we got the lift, wheels and tires on the truck this weekend. I am lucky that my buddy is the manager at Caliber Collision and was able to lend me the lift and tools. I went with a 5 inch suspension lift from Rough Country with 17 inch series 23 eagle alloy wheels with the 315x70/17 Cooper MTP tires.
I am thinking of re-gearing the truck to get back some of the get up and go as well as to get some of the fuel economy back to somewhat stock would be. Still haven't decided on the gear ratio since i'm stuck between 4.10 and 4.65s.

Thanks! Everyone and their mother has 20 inch Rockstar and Rockstar II's here in DFW. I wanted smaller wheel so i could go with more rubber since i will be offroading a bit.

Wait what?! A lifted truck without rockstars AND it's actually gonna see some off-road time? You must be kidding right? Good luck keeping it clean without bigger fenders though. I vote 4.56 for gears.

Going blue flame on the fenders to match? Is it a reach getting in it with the lift and the steps removed? At least they brought the d/s grab handle back for 15+ so that helps I'm sure.

Fender flares might be line x'd to match or might just be regular line-xd black still have not decided on it. I like the look of the bolt on black fender flares. Having removed the steps it is a pretty big step up lol. Me and the gf don't mind but i don't see my dogs parents or older family members being able to jump in the way a 30 year old and a 23 year old can lol
