Nice job! Can you take pics of the skid plates?

I will try to take pics tonight on my truck but not sure they will be any good. I found this pic a while back that compares the RCI to the stock FX4 skids.

The RCI package has WAY MORE coverage. They are pretty easy to install, come powdercoated, and are a good value. I just wish they were a tad bit thicker for a truck this big. Note: the transmission piece on the stock FX4 kit is foam sound deadening, not metal.

Those look really nice. I ordered the "off road" package with skid plates on my '12 XLT. I always wanted to upgrade but never did and ended up having to sell the truck. Now I have 1995 f150 to work on. I still enjoy looking at what people are doing with the new trucks. Thanks!

Added the softopper and spent the weekend running around the Manistee with Midwest Overlanders. I'm loving it so far. Need to get some storage built in the back for sure.

Over the weekend I had a company called P&P Engineering in northern IN design and build some weld on sliders for the truck. These are hard trucks to build sliders for but they got it done and they look great. Should keep my door from getting smashed again and they also work as a step.

The rocker panels have always been a huge concern of mine wheeling this truck and everything else on the market that advertises rocker protection only bolts to the body. I'm very happy with how they turned out.

Looks like fun! Two questions....does the softtopper leak into the bed seeing as how the sides appear to end INSIDE of the bed rails? And two....how do you like those taillight covers? Any chance I could get some close up pics of them, like from behind and to the side as well as looking at the fitment against the body? I'm interested in them as well and have the same color truck, just not sure on how they are up close. Keep the build going!

I haven't noticed any leaking so far. They end on top of the bed rail not inside the bed and the front goes between the cab and bed. There may be a bit but I haven't noticed. I'm building a sleeping and cargo platform for it soon so I hope I don't have too much leaking.

I'll try to grab a close up pic of them tonight but as long as you take your time and make sure the fitment is right, they basically fit perfectly on the light just barely wrapping around the outside between the light and truck itself. I'd recommend them if you like the look.

Have you looked into one of those bed length storage systems? you could sleep right on top of it and have your gear right under you.

Something of this nature.
