Default XL Screw build.

Hi Geoff, you have undertaken a very large project turning your new truck into a custom work that fits your needs and style kudos to you. I work for Ford Of Canada in there Assembly complex and have seen a lot of people buy base model vehicles to make them fit there needs and to see them find out that the aftermarket only supports some of there dreams i have also seen them spend thousands of $$$$ to make there vehicle special only to find out that some of the mod,s voided there warranty, research everything you do so you don't get any surprises and find out that you just voided your warranty. Good luck with your dream truck. I hope I have not been a downer to you.

Geoffburns, subbed! Got the XL model just like you but got the appearance package on mine and the cloth seats. Looking at your stripe you doing black? I really am thinking about doing vinyl stripes down the bottom of the rockers in a greyish color sort of how the lariats have. Too much white and I have chrome bumpers.

this is a fun build! I just picked up a base model truck and am enjoying making it mine. You've definitely got a lot to do! I recently received a promotion, but I work for Ford Credit and did loan approvals for the Houston region in my last job. Joe Myers was one of the dealers I talked to regularly!

Just bought my F150 this past sunday (first Ford ever and first pickup ever) and also bought an XL with the front bench seats. Not a fan of it so the center console conversion is something I'd be interested in. Not a handy person myself but if I can find a custom shop that will do this, this is definitely on top of my list to do!

Great job on all the mods!

I will be doing this conversion as well. I have a 2015 XLT w/ 302a. I have a question on what all you had to cut / drill on the dash itself to make the console fit? Also there is a door that covers the line in, sd card, usb ports and 12 volt outlet How did you make this work with the door? Also are your line, sd card, usb ports at a 45 degree angle or straight flush with the dash? Mine are flush and im concerned the door wont work because it slides back into the dash itself. Also the ports you may not be able to access since they are straight vs at an angle. Thanks for all your help!
