Thanks rkeller! To be completely honest, it was super easy, if it hadn't been for the heat, it probably only would have only taken me a couple of hours. That and the freaking seat bolts, are so freaking long!!! Really wished I had a air powered ratchet. Really the only custom piece I had to tackle was the AC/Radio bezels to fit.

I'm waiting for a week or two to hook up with one of my buddies' daughters boyfriend who is going to help me connect up the shifter and then I'll be all set. I'll make sure I document the whole conversion process when I do the shifter as I'll have to almost repeat the process to get to it. Until then...stay classy.

Sorry if I missed it in the thread, does the rear a/c work on the new center console?

Fuze, I thought about it, and thought it would take another piece of AC conduit or something, but when I looked at it, there is a Y connector directly under the plastic molding on the floor under the radio, that splits the AC to the back under the front two seats, I would assume that it's realtivly easy to pull this and the connector on the center console would connect right up. I will probably look at it when I connect the shifter, but to be honest, it might not work out, as right now they run under the vinyl mat on the floor (I don't have carpet), so there might be humps left over because of the lack of those tubes. I'll take some pictures for you when I get the shifter installed. Hopefully this next weekend.

wouldn't matter if it were steel or aluminum . and ya its pretty much a bolt on project , ream a little here a little there .Just need the right guy who knows . besides alot cars and trucks put aluminum on steel . 2014 f150 is an aluminum hood . I should know ive welded them .

Geoff, I have a question. I have a 2015 XL screw as well, and I am in the process of looking for running boards for it. I am hoping to put the Raptor OEM screw boards on it but wondered if they have changed the mountings. Basically, do you know if this would still be a no drill install?

To be honest I haven't done a ton of research into the running boards all I know is that for 2015 and newer they are no longer using holes in the frame and cab to attach the boards they actually have the bolts attached to the bottom of the cab,..I saw some really cheap raptor style boards on eBay and Craigslist as well but someone on here told me that only 2015 boards would work because of the brackets...and so that's what I went with...just be sure you get the nuts from whomever you buy them from...I'm trying to source the nuts right now and really don't want to pay $4.75 per nut (need 16 total) from the dealership! Now that being said I only paid $100 off craigslist for the running boards I got so another $70-80 isn't the end of the world it's more the principle of that much money for a nut.

Thanks! I will keep looking for some 2015 compatible boards then.
