Default 2014 Oxford White FX2 - "RB"

A few weeks back, I bought a 2014 FX2. I looked at and test drove the 2015s but there was something about the way they drove that I was not a fan of... Plus with the discounts dealers were making on 14s, it was hard to pass up. This build will be fairly slow and "mild" as I have a 14 month old and another baby on the way. Plans include a level or MAYBE a 3" lift (just enough for good ground clearance) and anything else I can think of to make my truck unique. We are calling it RB for "relámpago blanco" which is Spanish for "white lightning". My brother and I are as white of Texan as you can think of but we both speak almost fluent Spanish... Hence the joke. Anyway hope yall enjoy and feel free to leave any comments good or bad. I have thick skin

Guess it would help if I included a "stock" picture

First visual mod was to install the Recon smoked brake light

after - 2014 Oxford White FX2 - "RB"-0kwnap6.jpg

I also installed a K&N cold air intake. Sounds amazing!

Nice truck. Congrats!

Anything Recon is expensive. But it is the best, as I know.

Good that you went with small rims, because I guess you'll be swapping them as soon as you lift your truck, so some save of money there. Good decision..

Yea but Recon's look SO much better! Especially on white. I am recovering from an unexpected foot surgery so as soon as I am back up on my feet, I will be getting the tail lights as well. And yes I went with the smaller wheels for that exact reason - they won't be on there for long

So the build stalled due to an unexpected minor surgery. Sucks getting older.

Anyway, I bought a Flowmaster Super 44 muffler that will be going on soon. I will retain the factory pipes for now and install a dual tip (similar to what's on the Raptor). I also bought a set of Husky floor liners. They work just as good as Weathertech but cost about 50% less.

I appreciate it. Already up and walking again (6 weeks post op) so hopefully not much longer and I'll be back to "normal"
