Default 2014 fx4

A couple of weeks ago I purchased a new Fx4 from a local Ford dealership. I was happy with the deal and the truck, but figured it's time to start with some mods!! I'm not a fan of the factory rake that is common with most 4x4s, including my FX4! I decided that the lift would be my first upgrade. After having talked with Alex at F150lifts.com I ordered one of the Boss Ultimate coil over kits and installed it today. It rides much better than I had anticipated and definitely and improvement over the factory suspension!!

Next will probably be some tires!

You can see the before and after pics below.

Thanks man! I finally got some mud on it yesterday and it did better than I expected with the stock tires. I think I'm going to go with 275/70 cooper st max on the stock rims for now.

Makes a HUGE difference!

Also managed to install my 40" aurora light bar behind the grill and the UPR catch can I've been meaning to do.

Light Bar - THIS THING IS BRIGHT!

UPR catch can tucked behind light bar on left hand side

The auroras stay pretty cool actually. I think the larger fins on the back really help with cooling. I'll try and get you some night time pics soon.
