Default 2014 Flame Blue XLT Supercrew Ecoboost First Mod at 30 miles

Ok guys I am new to the forum. I have owned my truck now since July 7th. This is my first ford truck. I have used this site to get a couple ideas and verify fitment of the wheels and tires I wanted. First off let me tell you guys a little about myself. I work in the aftermarket industry and have access to a lot of cool products to try out on my truck. With the being said here is a list of mods I have done since 7/7/14 (day 1)

7/8/14 Installed superchips Flashpaq Tuner at 30 miles.
This mod is something I am not quite sure I like. I have played with the tuner now modding the tune in my truck several times and still cannot get the truck to remove the 100mph speed limit (hush I know its not safe to go that fast but I want it gone none the less) The tuner I own is the California Legal model but as far as I can tell it is the same as the the non Carb compliant model. I also found that the Fuel efficient tune does not seem to do anything... I drive my truck about 1000 miles a week for work and monitored the fuel economy in both this tune and the standard 87 tune and it seems to be about the same. However in the 87 tune it definitely has a ton more punch.

7/12/14 Installed AFE Stage 2 Intake System. This setup rocks. Nuff said. This item is not CARB approved and I had to pick it up out of state. It means I have to retain my stock intake for smog reasons later in life. After installing this intake and seeing a huge gain in the low end Torque I am hooked. This is definitely a must for the ecoboost owner. During the install I did the Vent To Atmosphere Mod for the B.O.V. I love the extra turbo sound this makes and it gets a lot of attention from the Ricers.

7/14/14 MBRP Single Outlet 4" Exhaust System with a Giant Black Tip (of course my friends say how much I Like the tip). This exhaust allows you to hear the turbo sound and actually after driving around with the exhaust installed I have come to enjoy the sound and have got many compliments on the sound of the truck.

7/18/14

Today I did some things to visually appease the look of my truck. I had been searching around for a wheel and tire combo I really enjoyed and to be honest I fell in love with the factory raptor Wheels and Tires. I asked around and came up with a set of wheels and tires with less then 2000 Miles on them for 1200.00. I was sold !! So I ran out bought the Wheels and A leveling kit and through them on. I completed the package with some Smittybilt Nerf Steps and removed the factory Chrome Stuff..

I am so pleased with the outcome so far I am excited to move forward but My funds are depleted for now. So I will drive it the way it is until I can put together the rest of the items I am looking forward to installing on the truck.

Future Mods:

Katzkin Leather Interior ( 2 tone)

Kenwood Navigation Head Unit Sync compatible.

Full-Race Intercooler with Manual BOV ( or maybe AFE)

Fox Racing or King Coil Over conversion. I know Fox offers items for the 2014 Already.

T-Rex Torch Grill with the led light Bar. Black.

I only got one picture of the truck this evening but will take a few more of the mods I have done so far. It is always fun to build up a new project

well thank you sir ... after owning a ton of chevy products this truck is a refreshing change. I actually have been putting off buying a ford for awhile because they always seem so expensive compared to whats out there but I have to say the ecoboost motor really helped in converting me =)
