So I installed a Volant Fast Fit 5 intake yesterday. Install took about 15 minutes. Thoughts are not very good. The filter flange was way too big for the intake. I ended up having to wrap the intake tube end with 1/4" think 1" wide weatherstripping in order for the worm gear clap to tighten the filter on. The filter sits too high in the engine bay and the hood is just barely crushing the top of the filter. I see why the intake is only $175. Great idea, poor execution.
