I finally got around to JB Welding the stupid plastic things back on to the autometer pillar pod trim. I got the gauge wired up and tubing into the engine bay but I still need to tie it in for the needle to start moving. I put a dimmer in so I'm not blinded at night, I zip tied it on so if I kick or hit it hopefully the small zip ties will break and no the dimmer part .

Scott, I've really enjoyed your build. Bid you crack your 20" wheels as well or did you just want to change to 18" for a new look? How has your ecoboost handled the extra size and weight? I am looking at moving to 315/70/17 raptor wheels and tires soon.

Thank you. The two of the 20s needed to be replaced so I figured going to 18s would be a little smother. I'm sure they are but the coil overs got cranked up a little so what I gained in the 18s was lost with the more preload on the coil over. The 81 lb tires killed the mpgs so I'm thinking of going back down to a 33.5 and to about a 66 lb tire to bring them back up. depends on how things go I may pull the trigger on 34x12.5 ko2s this summer to bring he mpgs back up. The AT2s are predicable so they're not a bad tire, just a heavy tire.

Thanks. The AT2's are a great looking tire but damn are they heavy compared to the competition.

Yes they are. I really liked the ATZs but with the P3s the sizes are limited. The cooper St Maxx looks pretty good, one guy say he had balancing issues but overall they should be a decent tire.

A little update since not much has been going on. I made a new bed divider / fishing rod holder. after a year of the 35s I'm going back to 33s at the end of the month to get a better ride and some better mpgs.

I added two D rings for another tie down spot.

I appreciate sharing your experiences with the shocks and tires. I was debating going to 33's or 35's. I thinks I'm going to go with the 33's after reading your post.

Thanks...
