I bought 2 brackets that allow you to mount to a flat surface. I drilled through my toolbox, then built a really wide plate for the back side. Bolted it on and put silicone around all holes.

10k winch is enough for your setup and use. A winch rated at twice the weight of the vehicle is pretty usual for offroading. Goes with the old belief of over build so you have room to grow. Lol. Nice job.

Anyone know what happened to this guy and his truck? Has not posted or been on in a year. Was wondering how his truck is holding up with this setup on stock wheels.
