Default 2013 FX4 Outdoorsman Build

Took me a while to decide which way I wanted to go with this build. I do a lot of fishing, camping, trail riding, and have property in the country. So i wanted a rig that could make all of those things a little more fun. I started with ordering a BDS 4 inch lift, with 35x12.5 Nitto terra graplers. Neither has arrived yet. I use to own a truck that had 14 inches of lift, so i am over the giant lift. 4 inches allows for 35" tires, but still feels very stable on elevated terrain. Then i bought a tool box to hold all my gear, then blacked out the handles and badge

. Put some HIDs in the fog lights. Then i ordered and installed a front trail camera. I then replaced my red FX4 decal with a gray decal. In the next couple weeks i will be mounting my highlift extreme jack to my tool box. I will post the lift pictures this next week when it is installed.

Nice Man, going to look good. I hear ya on the 4in Lift. I'm running 33s and 17s right now but want to with 35s later on after my current tires wear out.

I got my 4" lift on yesterday, I have to say i really like the way that it came out. Also put on the 1.5" centrific hubs so i could use my factory wheels. then I put on my hilift jack mounts to the tool box. Tires come in today so I will have them on tonight.

The tires will be in today, the shop ordered the wrong size so yesterday they showed up with 18" tires. Going with 35x12.5x20 Nitto trail Grapplers.

Tires are on. Truck seems really big for a 4 inch lift, really happy that i didn't go with the 6".

I am really happy with the outcome. I think with the clearance, tires, and rear locker I can now make it to any campsite or riverside I want to go to. Curious to see how the tires handle sand, that might be tricky. From past experiences i have found that sand and knobby tires don't really mix. Cant wait to find some new trails, power up the front trail cam and try everything out.
