Default 2013 ford f 150 ecoboost build (large photos)

Heres how my truck sits as of right now comments are appreciated, Pics are about 6 months old but no real changes since that time. Ill be honest i was always a chevy truck guy till they changed to the most recent body style, in my opinion i made the best choice in truck brand.

Bought it brand new currently sitting at 10,400 miles she has the 3.55 elocker, XLT chrome, convience, and plus packages reverse sensing system, rear back up camera, tow package and 36 gallon tank ( 140+ at current gas prices to fill up) privacy rear sliding window. Pretty much all the bells and whistles without the max tow package, offroad package and my-ford touch. As you can also see she is blue jean metallic ( love the color ) supercrew and 6.5' bed

Had to tow my brothers GMC sierra C3 (around 7k lbs) with her and she got 17mpg towing her full 9500 tow rating (based on 3.55 gear set) she towed rather nicely no struggling up the hills sounded like she wanted more weight to be honest. Im currently getting 19mpg going 65 to 70 mph, this is on PA winter gas so im fairly impressed. Summer gas i was seeing as high as 24-25 mpg but averaged around 22 mpg due to speed changes and area i live in (hills, valleys and 90* turns)
Future plans:

lift kit still debating on rancho or fabtech 4" lift ( will be using it for side jobs and towing so dont need a 6" lift)

Front and rear bumper replacement with either iron cross bumpers (brush guard) or a custom made set (chromed)

turbo upgrade either new larger turbos or the billet batmo turbo wheels Im leaning towards the batmo wheels

Catback exhaust dual exit

General Grabber AT 2 tires

Need a recommendation on rims 18" chrome or black and chrome

Power fold/extend tow mirrors (chrome skull caps)

IC Upgrade most likely the FULL RACE IC

Warner Winch 10k lb

Front camera

Chrome 3 or 6 bar grill havent decided yet thoughts ??

Install Predator graphics and black 4 x 4 decal

more as i think of them

Default Nice starting platform.

That is a nice looking truck in the Blue Jean Blue, Your fuel milage is freaking awesome! I have a 2011 with 67,000 miles on her, avg. is 16.5. I lost almost 1 mpg after I put on a 2.5 level kit. When I bought her at 50,000 miles it was getting around 17.8. Im on a blend mix is oil, but Im going to try full synethic and see what that does.

Thanks Eco-Hog, i have only full synthetic in her, i figured since shes boosted the added protection will help. I deffentially am not light footed with her either, ill break the tires loose every weekend cause i drive light footed during the week in my DD atleast if i go into town if im driving to the mall ill set her at around 65 to 70. I went full synthetic my first oil change so i cant tell you if i am getting better mileage cause of that or simply i lucked out with my setup. I know im going to lose atleast 1 mpg when i get a lift kit put on, i think my next under 1k mod will be intake. Read a few threads saying the turbos really start making themselves known once you do, that and the added mpgs

Full Race is still working on thier new intake. They will be the chioce for me because they are a big leader in turboed cars. They know thier stuff. I was looning at the AFE stage 2 aswell. just DONT put on the additional cover for it. I seen on a dyno where they lost power then the cover wat on. I think MPT Motorsports did the dyno. The AEM drop in filter woke mine up a little.

hey guys i need your opinion on lift kits im going with 4" either fabtech or rancho heres the links to both http://truckimage.com/p-2119-fabtech...on-system.aspx
http://truckimage.com/p-1680-rancho-...on-system.aspx

im leaning toward the fabtech due to the price but id rather have a good kit then a cheap kit

Both reputable brands. If money is tight, IMO I would choose to go with the basic Fabtech kit and then possibly upgrade to coilovers in the future. Not to make the decision more difficult but BDS also makes a reliable 4" kit for under $2k.
