next step, finding that darned suspension! Finally, in october of 2015 on my way to go shoot a film in lancaster/palmdale area, i saw a CL ad that just popped up. i couldn't believe the low price for an ENTIRE RAPTOR front suspension setup, never used. TAKEN OFF PRIOR TO ANY USE! this guy bought a raptor and a long travel suspension kit simultaneously, and had it installed before he ever drove it!

oops, hold on a second. I forgot about spending almost a grand on rear fiberglass. I didn't realize how complicated removing the OEM bedsides were. much more embedded, for lack of a better term, than my old 1979 ford. so I decided to return them. They were glassworks unlimited, and the guy was never to e seen again. I've heard he's out of business. McNeil racing is the only place for fiberglass. they're the originals along with John at Autofab. Fiberwerx is apparently the McNeils cousin, who took their molds and skedaddled... anyhow, not my business to speak to that.

At this point, the truck is looking pretty good. not embarrassed to drive it. the wrap is holding up, i have my "canyon lights", and its a Raptor for all those going by at 65mph... but not for me. I'm still frustrated at no suspension, and the obvious non flare bedsides, and no FOX SHOX.
