Thanks for the offer. Not sure it would be economical to ship them to Canada from Texas. I can get new rear bumpers painted for $220 and front for $250 locally. So you would basically have to give them to me for free. I think you would do better selling them locally to be honest, and you probably will as there a lots of XLT owners that try to get rid of the chrome.

Truck looks good. Did you get that dent from your FW? Not truck related but I would recommend flipping the axles on your FW just for the additional ground clearance that you get, no more dragging its *** every time you go up an incline.

I did, I was at a tight campground and jack knifed the trailer. I was getting increasingly frustrated and impatient. I was backing into a spot on my blind side. This has been an expensive mistake. I really regret not getting the sliding hitch. oh well, I will probably buy a new truck in a couple years anyway. There was no damage to my trailer on the bright side. I like the 2016's trailer backing system. that could be a marriage saver, they just need to get it to work for fifth wheels.

Well I got the kicker full upgrade installed. It sounds awesome. If your thinking about it definitely pull the trigger before you can't find them anymore. I will be painting my stainless handle covers to match next weekend along with the f150 emblems. Custom Coatings is going to be doing my ovals at the end of the month.

I also picked up some FX4 running boards just installed them this morning.

After that I will just have the bumpers to do before it looks like a proper FX4. A poor mans FX4. Then I will turn my attention to the interior. I am going to do black leather with blue stitching and blue accents. A centre console swap and some matte blue vinyl for the dash and doors a la raptor style. Plus throw in a raptor wheel steering wheel. I should be good to go from there

Hey Here is an update... its been awhile. I got the Front and rear bumpers, mirror caps and handles all wrapped in vinyl to match the truck. I also added a 14" antennae and PTM front, rear and side emblems. Looks pretty good. I think the only thing giving away that this is not an FX4 is the handles still have plastic and the interior. I want to do a single offset rally stripe in mopar blue. I think it will really set it off. There are so many black FX4's around I need some spice to make mine different. I also just grabbed some G2 Caliper paint in blue. I am going to sand down the calipers so there are smooth then clean and paint them. Next I am saving up for black leather with suede inserts and blue stick. The I'm going to do the K150 upgrade with an apple car play head unit. To top it off Its going to get some matte blue vinyl wrap on the interior sort of like the raptor. Then I cane move on to the performance. Maybe a tune and a drop filter, no exhaust or anything else.

vinyl front bumper wrap and painted emblems

all detailed up

I added Vinyl overlays to the steering and wheels. Now all my ford logo's are black and grey. On my Grey fusion all the ford emblems are the opposite grey ford on Black ovals.

For the mirror caps door handles and both bumpers it was only $320 Canadian dollars. Which I think is pretty good considering it looks as good as paint and is suppose to last 9 years. Which is longer than I will probably keep the truck.

Nice job. I have invested much more than that to get PTM parts and have them painted. Almost embarrassed to say how much. But love the look.
