Just had a reel oh s**t moment. I'm staying with my girlfriends family down in Florida, and since I'm riding back up to school with her I flew. I'm on the verge of being 100% out for the night when I heard a thud outside the window and looked up to see a shadow move across the room from outside. I instinctively reached for where my CZ-75 P07 would have been had I been at home and all I got was air, at that point all I could do was walk out in the hall and wait for the would be burglar to break in. Turns out that the 16-20 mph wind that I couldn't hear due to the fan running, had knocked down the umbrella and stand that were on the deck. And there I was ready to take out some idiot burglar armed with my pocket knife and boxers

I had a real oh **** moment a few years back late one night as well. Ive been living in my house at this point for about a year so I'm used to my neighbors cars sounds. I heard something that didnt sound right and look out my bedroom window (upstairs) and I see an old truck had just pulled into my driveway and shut the lights off. I could see well enough that someone had gotten out of the truck and walked towards my back yard. Instinctively I grabbed my XDM from the night stand and ran down stairs and to my back door to see if he was coming around. I saw the guy walking thrugh my back yard and towards the house behind mine. I turned on the flood lights real quick, caught him like a deer in the headlights and was drawn down on him. After some choice words with him, I talked him back into the truck with and convinced them to leave and never come back. After I was sure they were gone, I went back in, locked up, turned out the lights and went back to bed..... All while realizing I had slept commando that night
