2012 Ford F-150 FX4
I have a 2012 F150 FX4. I recently installed an Autospring 2" leveling kit in the front (nothing in the rear) which made me just about level. It might be a touch higher in the front than the rear but its real close. I also installed a set of 295/60/20 Nitto Trail Grapplers with the Fuel Hostage 20x9 wheels, offset: +20. I haven't experienced any rubbing so far which is awesome, but I havent really taken it off-road yet so we will see about that. Before I installed the tires I took the valence off the front bumper because it was bent and I just didnt like the way it looked. I've read that if you have the valence on then there may be a need for a little trimming due to rubbing. But since mine is off I obviouslly didnt. As far as the Fuel Hostage wheels I havent been very happy. As soon as I took one out of the box one of the decorative bolts that goes around the outside of the wheel fell off. I gorilla glued it back on so hopefully it wont be an issue again. I have read that a lot of guys are having the same problem with these wheels, so I'm expecting to have more fall off in the future. Wish I wouldve known that before I bought them. Do your research. Gas mileage has dropped a little with the tires, but nothing too signifcant. Maybe a 1.5 or 2 mpg which I expected. As far as noise I am really impressed. I wasn't concerned with a little bit of noise which is one reason I bought a M/T but these tires are surprisingly quiet. I just registered so I'm not familar with the site. I'll try to figure out how to post pictures. Hope this helps. Pictures to follow.
