The saving grace for consumers is the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975. The act states that a dealer must prove that aftermarket equipment caused the need for repairs before it can deny warranty coverage.

The adjuster's job is to save the company money, not to help the customer so no surprise they would look at the lift and try to use it to deny the warranty. I'd LOVE to their explanation on how a suspension lift causes sand to get in the engine.
THIS! Use this... this is what i was referring to when I said lawyer up. This saved my dad about 900 bucks when a sensor in his ram went out on his transmission...

Alright everybody, I got my big, black beauty back! Only been 5 weeks and 2 days

Unfortunately, I had to pay out of pocket. I talked to the warranty company, the dealer, and the dealer I bought my truck from, no one helped. I talked to A LOT of people. It's unfortunate, but it is what it is.

I got a new long block and new exhaust manifolds as well. I'm honestly just glad to have it back!

Well, you live and you learn!

No differences in power, but no ticking or engine noises I installed my tuner with the 87 perf/tow tune, but looking for a little more...looking into a CAI and other engine modifications that will increase the power just a little. Any suggestions?

I had a similar issue, turned it over to the State Insurance Commission. Got my truck fixed real fast!

Mine is bone stock... I think doing something like a tune, CAI, and a full exhaust (headers to tail pipe.) Is really all there is. There really isnt much you can do to these other than a forced induction situation such as a super charger imo. The gains from busting into internals are not worth the reliability issues or costs on a DD to me. Even with a super charger i feel like you are flirting with reliability issues... I'd buy a mustang as a second vehicle if i was wanting to go crazy.
