I really think it is worth it (take that for what you will and consider that advice is coming from the guy selling them to you).

The new style with the 5X brighter LEDs will be 1499.00. We also have 2 new style, one cheaper and one more expensive.

Here are the new less expensive switchbacks, These are 475.00 shipped (F150 L Style switchback Headlights)

Here are the more expensive ones. These offer illuminated "F150" or "Raptor" and have a sequential turn signal built in. Might want to sit down before you click the link....

2009-2014 F150 & SVT Raptor Special Edition LED Sequential Projector HID Headlights

Thanks for the info. I'm excited for the video. I'm debating on them still. I don't know if I will go for the 5x brighter ones, I LOVE the look of the ones on your truck. They are PERFECT.

In comparison, how does the truck ride vs. both stock and the previous 2012 FX4 that you had? I was toying with the 2-3" lift from ICON you had previously, but I've fallen in love with the stance of this new setup. I'm also curious as to how the MPG have been affected.

Okay here goes, feel free to call us on this if my post doesn't make sense:

The icon set up was great on and off road. When we were at high speeds (Well high speeds for off road use, maybe 35 MPH) the icon kit absorbed the big bumps and really felt stable.

The zone kit come with a pretty cheap front set up, if you watch our video you can see that they give you a strut and you reuse the factory coil and upper mount. When I get to high off road speeds and hit a good size hole or rock i get a "Dead" sound up front from the zone kit.

While we are comparing the trucks, keep in mind the Zone kit has to deal with 20s and 37s, while the red FX4 only have 18s and 33s. So I have way more rolling weight for the zone kit to handle.

We are going to upgrade the zone kit with a set of coil overs and that will give us 2 more inches of lift and maybe a better ride. We also have some control arms to install very soon.

The video sold me. That is what I will be getting. Working on saving up so I can do EVERYTHING all at once.

They are really really cool. That is what everyone comments about on the truck. Everytime we post pics of one of our off road adventures, people just ask about the lights.

One of the set ups I've been contemplating is a 4" with something better than the "stock" shocks. I wonder, If I did a 4 and set my Bilstein Coilovers at "0" would that work?

Yes that would work. But keep in mind some 4in lift kits don't come with coil over spacers. Some come with the lifted front struts.

^^ true. Wouldn't be surprised if one of the big guys like King, Fox or Icon would solve the issue for a few bucks. Food for thought.
