I am going to remove the cap and have the bed sprayed with LineX

I am assuming that it can only be sprayed under the rails, due to the factory plastic bed rails?

What is everyone having done to or with the tailgate on these trucks?.......due to the load assist bar and step?

Mine doesn't have those but they should be removed. If the shop is good they will tape off or remove. When they did my ranger he took out the black tie downs, took off the tailgate, took out the bolts that hold the bed in and taped off what he needed to.

When I bought my fiddy I was annoyed to see they didn't do any of that. My tie downs are covered, my bed bolts were, I cut the liner around them off. The tailgate isn't done to the bottom edge. So there is the chance for rust.

Are "canned" programmers any good in these trucks?

I really like the Edge CTS monitor on my old truck

I have found quite a few cheap used setups

From what I have read, canned tunes can make a difference but not like a tune designed for your truck. It might also depend on which tuner the canned tunes are from. I hear good things about 5 Star, MPT and Livernois. As far as tuners go, SCT X4 seems to new the favorite unless you want the touch screen version for gauges. I am saving up for one now, hopefully in the spring.

I had a full pallet (144) plus 6 more pavers in the bed today

2,100 pounds plus the pallet and plus the weight of the cap

Yes the truck sagged, but it was not maxed out and handed amazingly well, even at 70 MPH

Very damn impressed for a half ton

For such a cheap and simple accessory, the WeatherTech license plate cover/mount is SO WORTH THE MONEY!!!

The hidden screws covers and the gasket is so nice.........highly recommended

I ordered a set of Motorcraft Iridium (SP-534) plugs from Rock Auto

Crazy cheap compared to everyone else, like $4.02 each

With a 5% off order coupon code, its a cheap plug change

My gas mileage is pretty bad, in my opinion...........14.4-14.6

Truck has 22,000 miles on it, so I am going to swap in new plugs, new drop in air filter, and change the oil/filter (Mobil One Synthetic)

I am going with a .030 gap, because from what I read this is what the SP534 come pre-gapped to?

Quality install must not have been priority #1 at Ford

I am missing three speed clip nuts and three bolts on my running boards (only 8 total)

I hope these are the correct numbers:
N806155-S437 - attaching bolt
W520833-S439 - attaching nut/clip
