I am working on cleaning up my own cap wiring. The installer ran it straight to the battery with no wire loom at all. It always drove me nuts. I undid that and connected to the power lead that Ford puts under the hood. I followed the info in this thread. It explains what all of the wires are under the hood.
Awesome link, thanks!

The more I look at the front end, and the leveling kit......the more and more I think it is only a 1.5" spacer kit
Other than pulling the spacer, any definitive was to measure it while its installed?

Time to put the cap back on.......need to just re-wire it now, with adding in 3 hole outlet panel
The truck only sagged 1/4" after the cap was installed
Cleaned the windows up and put two coats in RainX on the glass

I made the "power distribution center" today, using some 1/8" thick aluminum flat stock and 1/8" thick aluminum 4"x4" angle
The two Streamlights are mounted on the 4"x4" angle and are rock solid, love it
Mounted the three hole (switchable) accessory outlet and will run the power wire and ground to it next
I also need to rewire the two LED strip lights in the cap and the 3RD brake light
I bought a $5 clamp and used the bed clamps to secure it.......there is also a volt meter plugged in, so I can monitor things
