2012 5.0 FX4 Build "Black Betty"

I recently put a bds / fox 6" lift on my truck with 35 12.50 r20 Toyos on rbp revolver wheels man. Love the stance now. I had originally planned on the 2.5" but the lift bug bit me. Have you looked into doing a boss intake swap on your 5.0L with the 5star tune? I personally know that with that mod your truck will punish a srt10... Just something to keep in mind brother. Nice rig.

Just got same truck. I was curious where you would look for engine mods to improve speed on the 5.0 L V8..? Thanks in advance... I am coming from a BMW 550I where i had the Dinan Stage 2 and have a bit of a need for speed. The truck was needed for work and I'm left with a bit of desire to improve the speed and like the improvements you've made... thanks

Hi,
I have a 2012 f150 FX4 with a 5.0, I am running a 5star 93 custom tune (tow/haul mode= performance mode and when that is off it drive like the stock shift pattern) i have an AFE intake with the metal LID, before i had that i had the K&N and it was so unbearably loud that i had to remove it and go back to stock until i got the AFE which before i did the exhaust it was still too much drone for my taste, just wondering if you have received any of these similar problems with your roush intake, just wondering if it is very loud or fairly quiet, also i am still running the stock 32.1 tires, cant decide if i want to go with 33' and keep my performance and gas economy, or go to 35' and forget about speed, which i do love any help there would be great
thanks matt

Nice truck! As for the Pro-Comp levelling kit.... Any thoughts? Any ride change? Did you install yourself? Difficulty level? And the part# please if you have it handy.

New wheels and tires on! Makes a big impact in my opinion. 20x9 Fuel Hostage wheels with +20 offset wrapped in 295/60r20 Nitto Trail Grappler MT's.
No rubbing on the control arm at full lock either direction. Had minor trimming on the plastic on the front and back side of the wheel housing. Kinda tight but have 1-2 fingers in between both sides. Already had the 2" procomp leveling kit.

You should look into doing the 2" quicklift by rancho for the front end
