Default My '13 FX4 (pic heavy)

I am back with another ride. I sold my '13 Boss 302 to get this truck.

To date, i have changed most of the lights to led's both interior and exterior including yellow fog lights. I chopped off the muffler and i plasti-dipped all of my emblems, and i got a cover for my bed. I am looking to put the roush tvs super charger on the truck soon. That is why i got the 5.0 vs the eco-BOO-st. I chose to have the 18's on the truck as i love those rims, and they are much more functional that the appearance package 20's. The tire is much beefier on the 18's, which suites my needs alot more than something i cant do anything with... the 20's.

Looks like my truck!

I hope you know that I'll be copying the crap out of that white/black plasti-dip theme on your badges. Looks super sharp.

How do you remove the front and rear emblems without breaking them?

Stage3Motorsports, Thanks. I am actually looking to invest alot in your company once i get this "oil" money flowing. I used to get mustang stuff from you guys. Actually sold a '13 Boss 302 to get this lol. Accepting sponsorship lmfao. Supercharger is going to be first mod. I am planning on buying a used '13 or '14 GT500 in Early spring, so i will need to have the power to pull her around!

Wolf_FX4, Thank you sir.

HardcoreFXFour, So the front emblem has 2 little nuts that need to be removed. Once removed there is a "safety tab" that needs to be moved out of the way to then push the emblem out. The tab is there so the badge doesnt just fall off if the nuts are gone. The front one is a bit tricky, so becareful. I actually broke off that guide post in the middle, but it isnt really needed. The rear emblem is super simple. If you look from underneath, you can see that there is a small notch on each side. Take something small, and flat, and you can pop it off with minimal force and effort.

Brett2013fx4, I know not all trucks are like mine, but i do know that on the '13s, some of the badges are like mine where the badge is not gel filled and is actually seperate pieces.

On those emblems, i did 5 coats of each color, white and black, and then i did 2 coats of glossifier to give it some shine and stand out a bit more on the grille. The reason in used plastidip is because it is alot more durable than standard paint. I actually thought of doing it in black and red but i decided against it. Here is some pics of my first project before i took the emblems apart. I actually painted the whole thing black, and peeled away only the blue portion. It was like that for a few months.

I am pretty good with the stuff. I do alot of my buddies cars in the area. I have done some things on my '13 Focus, my '13 Hot Wheels Camaro, my old '13 Boss 302, and on my old '12 Chrysler 300. The rims pictured on the Camaro, are the winter setup 20's. They are 20x8.5 or 9. I picked up all 4 rims with tpms, 2 chrom and 2 the darker color, for 200 bucks. Got tires for 300 The HotWheels model Camaros come with standard 21 inch rims.

Here is the link to some of my work.
