Follow me on instagram: @bcantliffe
I post more often on there than I do on here, especially with school back in full swing this semester.

I also finally got some lights wired up on the truck. After a lot of back and forth, I decided to take the easy route and use rough country 30" light bar mounts that mount a single row light bar in the lower portion of the grille, instead of drilling holes on the grille support like I've seen done a couple of times. I also went with alternative offroad hood mounts, because you didn't have to cut your cowl to clear them, which is the case with several other manufacturers. Lastly, I drilled holes in the bottom part of my shackles to mount two reverse pods. I either wanted to flush mount them in my bumper, or have them completely hidden because I hate the look of them if they are just bolted to the bottom of the bumper. Heres a few photos of where they were installed.

***EDIT: Anyone know why these photos are all being rotated? Except for one, they're all vertical when I open them on my computer.***

Nice idea about the shackle, I also can't stand when you see them hanging down. IMO it looks like old man truck and not a clean look

Yeah I saw it done on the rigids mounting thread, and figured thats where it looked the best. Some of the light is definitely cut off but the only other way I would've mounted them is flush cut into the bumper. If I bought rigids with the correct mounting hardware I definitely would have went that route.

That sign is about a half mile down the road, and this setup is ridiculously bright.
If you guys want to see any more photos of different things, let me know and I can probably get the DSLR out for some higher quality photos.

Side note, if any of you guys are in the Northeast, the UConn Car Show is this weekend, Sunday April 9th at 9am. $20 cash for show cars, and theres usually a very good truck turnout. This is the largest car show in CT, so shine up your favorite ride and come enjoy a great day!

Did you remove any of the trim to do that? I had same idea, and basically the same truck as you (when stock) in CT
