2010 supercab xlt --- my really slow build
Hey guys, thought I would start a thread and get in on the action. It will probably be real slow with work and school as well as maintaining my dirt bike and mtb. We'll see where it will go but for now here's a list of some of the aftermarket:
-dB performance (corsa) cat-back exhaust
-K&N cold air intake
-Hid conversion kit
-Grill Craft grill
-some cheap off-road lights with a homemade mount (I'm gonna redo this setup)
-Tires are Nokian Rotiva AT
I haven't done much myself (mostly the previous owner) but I want to do good low buck stuff in the future. I'll grab some pics asap.

Yeah I checked the grill and there is no real other tags on it.
On another note, I said at the start of the build I would be redoing the lights. I got most of it done, just got to do some wiring. After that I think I'm gonna move on to doing some stuff to the bed for organization. Any ideas out there?

Lights
So in my first post I said I wanted to redo the lights on the front. I actually only had them mounted not wired. Finally I got some time to mount them straight and sturdy as well as wired. I really like how they turned out, as they make the truck different and unique. Best part is that I already had the lights and most of the other material so I only spent $20 for some of the wiring!
Kit comes with relay which I found a spot and plugged the wires right in.
This is all the materials that I used for the install except for some extra wire and plugs. I had everything sitting in my garage except the wiring kit that was only $20. Includes wires, fuses, switch, and relay. The mounts I hacked up from some metal I had laying around, then sprayed with some black rust paint.
I think that the switch fits in this spot well, however I think it would look great if i just had a black switch that doesn't stand out so much.
Took me a while to fish the wires through this grommet in the firewall.
This is a layout of how the wires run through the engine bay. Tried to make it look as factory as possible and I'm happy with how it turned out.
