the picture i just posted is the "look" we want, but i know his truck is a little different from that one. thanks again.
If you find a front grill that is the style that you want for cheap, like in a junk yard, you can do the PTM yourself. Duplicolor has some good paint, it's the prep work that is the key. The lift, rims, and tires are probably going to be the most expensive unless you can find the rims/tires used. I would not recommend a used lift unless you know it was installed/removed properly and it wasn't beat to hell most of it's life. There are a lot of people on here that do retrofits for headlights/taillights that would be fairly cheap. Or you could do your own modifications to a spare set, again from a junk yard.

There are enough customized rigs of this generation out there that you should be able to find what you are wanting for less than what it would cost for retail. Craigslist, Kajiji, EBay, and the forums classified ads will aid you in finding the items you want for any style you choose. Good luck to you and please post pictures of the progress you do.

rims and tires come were ordered today. ended up w/ 35 inch BFG KO tires. going to do a 4-inch lift, not a level.

i looked, researched and listened to a lot of people - not going to do rockers black.

bull bar with LED instead of smittbilt light bar with PIAs.

several changes to our original plan, so we'll see how it looks.

Since you're not going to do rockers, I would recommend a quality set of mud flaps/guards to keep debri from possible chipping your paint. There are several different brands that forum users have used. Some are no drill and others are. And be sure to post pictures. Lol.
