Default 2021 F-150 XLT Sport 4x4 build

Hi everyone! This is my 1st Ford so I’m ready to make some minor changes to have it stand out a bit. My previous vehicle was a 2013 Chevy Silverado LT. I liked the Chevy, but am loving my Ford!

I will use the truck for hauling my restaurant equipment, hunting once a month and fishing as well. No real plans to tow anything.

So far I got it ceramic coated(7 year warranty), the bed spray lined(life time warranty), ceramic window tinting(life time warranty) I ended up getting the clear window tint in the front windshield and very happy with it as it is keeping the truck about 10 degrees cooler, stubby antenna swap.

Things on order. Husky mats and under seat storage, Wet Okole neoprene seat covers. Grill and tailgate emblem in red and black. Tailgate F-150 badge raised lettering in black with red trim.

I plan to take off the fender badging and black it out with red trim. Black out the 3rd brake light and tail lights once available. Down the road, powder coat the front tow hooks red, paint the grill black with red accents and maybe powder coat the rims black with red accents. So plan on deleting the gray.

Will a leveling kit void the Ford warranty? Will not do a lift, but maybe a level.

Let me know if you guys have done these changes and what has worked and what has not. Appreciate all feedback!

If you plan on a lot of gravel road driving, I highly suggest get wheel well liners, and OEM mud guards. Great looking truck!

No gravel where I hunt and go off road, just real muddy when it rains. My friend’s house is at the top of a hill with a pretty steep incline. Tore up his road pretty bad with my Chevy.

Can you recommend wheel well liners? I may still look for some.

I don't think it will fit as I put in 2021 and it said it was not a match. I think from what I have read a lot of the 2021 after market stuff will start hitting shops in April or so.

I live about 15 minutes outside of downtown Honolulu, in my neighborhood radio reception is spotty. I honestly haven’t noticed any difference with my phone.

As I get closer to town, radio reception is fine and not noticeable.

To me if you live in a rural area where you may have spotty reception, a stubby may not work for you. If you live in or close to town, you should be fine.
