So after doing some looking, I think the damage is not a bad as I thought. The only thing that seems to be broken mechanically is the upper control arm, so that's not bad. But with my luck, it's going to be a pain in the butt to replace. Oh well. Also, no other body parts are damaged other then the fender so thats good. No frame damage or supports that are damaged. The weather is pretty horrible right now so I'm probably not going to get to go to the junk yard till next weekend, but I can get everything mechanically working this weekend hopefully. We shall see.

Finally took the wheel off today and just as I thought, the upper control arm broke. Snapped right off at the ball joint.

Sorry about your luck man! Hopefully you find a fender pretty soon and get it back on the road

After two days of messing with this stupid thing, I finally got the control arm replaced. The auto parts store gave me one that the bushings didn't fit, so I went ahead and bought the MOOG one, and it fit. The truck is drivable now, and I'm going to drop it off at the alignment shop tomorrow hopefully, and will go to the salvage yard on Saturday to pull a fender. I'm just glad that only the control arm broke, and nothing else.

Truck is back from the alignment shop, there was no work to be done. Everything was perfect. The one thing he did say was that my lower ball joints were bad, but he quoted me $500 to replace everything and align it. No way! Anyway, all that has to be done now is a new fender and paint!
